Orbis Taskcentre

ImageYour customers are becoming more demanding, competition is getting more intense, and it's becoming more and more difficult to access information you need to effectively manage your business.

Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) refers to the aggregation, analysis, and presentation of relevant and timely information about business activities inside your organization and involving your customers and partners. BAM provides more accurate information about the status and results of various operations, processes, and transactions so you can make better decisions, more quickly address problem areas, and reposition your organization to take full advantage of emerging opportunities.

Orbis TaskCentre® is a unique software suite that enables organisations to streamline their business processes by building powerful, automated tasks that leverage the potential of existing systems. The product range offers a totally scalable, cost-effective (BAM) solution for organisations ranging from SME's to the large enterprise.

The product is designed upon the central concepts of 'Tasks' and 'Actions' that provide logical building blocks which eliminate the need for complex programming and enable seamless integration with existing infrastructure and communication systems.

TasksActions
Tasks are the primary entity within Orbis TaskCentre® and represent a part or all of a distinct business process containing multiple interrelated Actions.

By building Tasks it is easy to design business rules that partially or completely replace a manual process. Within each Task there is complete control for which actions are utilised and in what sequence using visual modelling techniques. A Task can be scheduled periodically or triggered real-time via the Task API.

Actions are the individual steps within a Task that provide the functional building blocks and support for common technologies, systems and applications. Within a Task, Actions are combined together in terms of both information and sequence to build the business process.

Actions can be grouped into the four categories of Input, Format, Output and Execute.
