GolfAlerts is a unique, easy-to-use Handicap Alerting System which uses SMS to notify your members and players of their handicap on a regular basis.

The system is a desktop based application which can use a standard USB/Serial GSM Modem or a connection to our Internet based SMS gateway for broadcasting scores and handicaps to members.

The system provides a quick and easy interface for sending notifications to players preparing them for their next tournament.

It offers the facility to import a CSV (comma-separated) file with mobile numbers to which the messages are to be sent, thus reducing the manual entry requirements from the operator.

The configuration screen allows the user to configure the tool to use a GSM modem or an authorized connection to our IP gateway to send message directly via the Internet. The Internet based transport provides higher throughput and faster messaging over the GSM based transport.

In addition templates can be defined to pre-create redundant messages which are sent to members on a regular basis. The templates can be built placeholder tags which will be replaced with values from the CSV file when the messages are being broadcast.

Once messages are sent, logging is maintained provide details on the broadcast.
