Apple has bought a startup working on artificial intelligence technology that analyzes facial expressions to detect emotions. Emotient, a San Diego based startup, which primarily builds software for advertising, media, consumer packaged goods and other industries, was acquired by Apple as it increases its foray into Artificial Intelligence.

Apple serves up iOS 9.3 in beta with an easier-on-the-eyes feature

Now using your iPhones and iPads at night will become a little easier, as Apple’s new Night Shift feature in iOS 9.3 uses your iOS device’s clock and geolocation to determine when it’s sunset in your location. Then it automatically shifts the colors in your display to the warmer end of the spectrum, making it easier on your eyes.

In addition, Notes will also become more secure by providing fingerprint locking to secure data.
